Company Background
SoundKinetics is an acoustics technology company. Our focus is one of the most influential aspects of the audio system - room acoustics. SoundKinetics sees vast improvement potential in the acoustic environment.

Our journey started back in the late 90's researching loudspeaker transducer materials. In 1997 we formed an alliance with the University of Denver School of Engineering.

We converted an office space into a Hemi-Anechoic chamber to perform research as well as engage students in special acoustics projects. During the next five years, we involved students and faculty in our   research projects. This led us from Aerogels for loudspeaker cones at  Sandia National Labs to a   conceptual ring tweeter using advanced materials.  We applied this knowledge with our PHD student intern to model transducer behavior using FEA(Finite Element Analysis), and acoustic tests.  This analysis was  applied to most  available tweeter transducers yielding surprising results.

The acoustic testing techniques and knowledge have been part of our continuing exploration of acoustic treatment products.
